Anastasiadis
Fanis (Theofanis) Anastasiadis is a London based, ARB registered, RIBA chartered Architect. He is the main creative force behind Fanis Anastasiadis Architecture Ltd. He graduated with an Architect Engineering degree from the School of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Prior to moving to London in 2013, he worked for 8 years in Thessaloniki in residential, retail and private healthcare projects. In London he has worked as Lead Architect with two award-winning practices: Scenario Architecture, which specialises in high-end, and high resolution tailored homes and, more recently, with Facit homes, which specialises in digitally manufactured eco-homes. His areas of expertise include unique non standard solutions tailored to each user and site & clever designs to maximise the potential of and add value to restricted sites for developers and end users, while promoting simple, functional and sustainable design. In the UK he has worked on a number of award winning bespoke home designs and has achieved planning permission for many complex and challenging projects. He has also participated with distinction in urban design competitions.
Our Design Process
We work in a fully collaborative 3D process with our clients, giving them access to models and visuals every step of the way. The basis for our design process is contextual analysis. There are two driving forces, the clients requests and requirements, and the site's & surrounding area's restrictions and synergy. No design preconceptions or conceptual ideas will dominate the design outcome. This allows a contemporary design to be fully aligned with the client's aesthetics whilst keeping the design process free to guide the outcome to its natural course. A key factor when designing an addition to the built environment is balance when blending in with the surroundings. A building that respects the feeling of the urban fabric and general context area is key to a successful planning application, a harmonious design solution and good overall local community relations.

This way we overcome the Planning Officers concerns and deliver more for restricted sites.
