This house in Chiswick was designed on a site within a private estate. The site previously was occupied by the estates caretaker facilities. The two storey house replaces a single storey structure with limited spaces. It was a challenge to create a private family home, protected from overlooking within a safe enclosure in a neglected (garages and parking mainly) context area.

The open plan living areas are bright and directly connected to the protected garden area. There is continuous flow from the living room to the kitchen/dining room and to the TV snug area beyond
